  • 2017

    Wanda Media successively achieved a strategic cooperation with Bright Dairy Group, ChangAn Automobile Group,Great Wall Motor,China Merchants Bank Credit Card Center and Didi Chuxing in 2017. In addition, Wanda Media has collaborated with Wanda Kidsland and created the first IP crossover marketing compaign in China. 

  • 2016

    It planned online and offline campaigns for Warcraft, creating a fastest record of imported films to reach 1 billion RMB box-office in mainland China. It also invested in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 and played a leading role in the process of promoting the movie. On 28th December of 2016, Wanda Media was officially founded and then announced its brand new concept of convergence marketing. With film as its core entrance, Wanda Media integrated rich resources of Wanda commercial scenarios and opened up the era of convergence marketing for becoming a leading media company in China.

    The company officially became a part of Wanda Group, one of the world top 500 companies worldwide, exclusively operating all the cinemads and all-media advertisements in Wanda Cinema Line and Wanda Cinemas.

  • 2014

    The company invested in many Paramount movies like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Interstellar, Terminator: Genesis and etc., set a precedent of Chinese enterprise investing Hollywood movies and getting benefits globally.

  • 2013

    The company established closer partnerships with six major studios in Hollywood and was granted the right of product placement and joint promotion for Transformers: Age of Extinction in mainland China. It played a leading role in the process of promoting this film in China afterwards and created a miracle of making it the biggest winner on box office in China with 1979 million RMB.

  • 2010

    The company embraced its first peak of business cooperation with the release of Avatar and successfully operated advertisement resources of multiple Hollywood blockbusters, which brought it an increasing important position in the industry.
